Over the years our furniture has been installed in a large number of universities, colleges, corporations, and government agencies throughout North America. The experience we have gained meeting the high standards of these institutions has allowed Exact Furniture to become a leader in developing contemporary furniture that enhances productivity.

At Exact Furniture we are proud of our quality, we thoroughly inspect all products prior to shipment to ensure they meet our rigid standards. As a result of our commitment to provide exceptional products, Exact Furniture is pleased to offer a 5 year warranty against defects on cabinet materials and workmanship. This warranty covers manufacturing defects which occur during normal usage of the cabinet or podium and does not include general wear, damage caused by abuse or excessive weight applied to slides or hinges.

Exact Furniture will also warranty any factory installed electronic components to the same extent as the original manufacturer, for more details please contact us.

As a socially responsible company Exact Furniture is making a concerted effort to only source wood products from environmentally conscious North American suppliers.

The melamine Exact uses in our products is a composite material made from recycled and/or recovered materials. The fibers used to make melamine would otherwise be burned or thrown into landfill so they allow us to make better use of our valuable natural wood resource and optimize the use of each tree. By using these waste fibers to make products such a melamine, the manufacturers of composite material are able to use almost 100% of a harvested tree.

The material we purchase qualifies as EPP (Environmental Preferred Products) a preferred standard that ensures that manufactured products demonstrate environmentally friendly characteristics, and do not have negative impacts on human health or the surrounding environment.

The use of melamine in projects may allow the user to earn credits under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System. LEED is an internationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings. Points may be obtained under this system in the areas of recycled content and regional and local materials. In addition to LEED credits our materials are California Air Resources Board 1 and/or CARB 2 certified.

All shipments must be opened, counted and inspected for damage prior to signing the delivery receipt. If the box looks damaged or an item is missing, note it on the delivery receipt, if the unit has visible damage the shipment should be refused. If the damage is fairly minor and you wish to keep the unit note any damage on the delivery receipt, failure to note damages or shortages at the time of delivery means you are accepting the product as complete and in good condition and releases the carrier and Exact Furniture Ltd. from all liability.

The customer must first request authorization from Exact Furniture for the return. The request to return an item must be within 30 days of delivery and the product must be returned in good condition and in its original packaging. If the return is approved, Exact Furniture will issue an RMA number which must be noted on the Bill of Lading. Returns are based on standard units in standard finishes, our returns policy is a 20% restocking fee plus the customer is responsible for return freight. Once the unit is received by Exact Furniture we will refund 80% of the original cost of the unit if it is returned in good condition.

Custom or modified units, including custom cut outs and finishes are usually not returnable, but we will try to see if there is something we can do on a case by case basis.

Please contact Exact Furniture to discuss your project requirements and see how you can earn LEED credits with your Exact purchase.

Damages that are noted on the delivery receipt or shipments that are refused due to visible damage must be reported to Exact Furniture as soon as possible. We will either repair the unit if possible when it is returned to us, or send you a replacement and file a damage claim with the carrier. If the damaged unit is kept please retain all packaging including the carton, foam and the skid for possible inspection by the trucking company. Digital photos must be taken of any damage to the product or the shipping box.

Damage that is discovered after the carrier has left is concealed damage, all concealed damage must be reported within 5 days of delivery. Replacement costs plus freight will apply to all concealed damages. Please keep all packaging in case an inspection of the damage is required by the carrier. Digital photos should be taken of any damage to the product or the shipping box.
